BLAKER BREWING - CASE STUDY

Just like their beer selection, our buddies over at Blaker Brewing offer up a full line of branded merch.  We intentionally built out their product line to include very simple, humble items, as well as, higher end pieces like this embroidered crewneck sweatshirt.  We knew we wanted to add a nice fleece item but aimed to steer clear of the pullover hoodie standard fair.

For this particular project we knew we wanted to create a nice fleece item but aimed to steer clear of the standard fare pullover hoodie.  The end game execution was a slightly oversized brand logo sewn onto the center chest and their tagline sewn onto the high upper back.  Using one of the richest feeling, most well constructed garments out there, we were completely stoked on the finished execution deliberately designed to stand side-by-side with their elevated brand of products across the board.

RUPAUL’S DRAGCON - CASE STUDY

RuPaul's DragCon LA is an annual expo of drag culture held in Los Angeles billed as a “convention that celebrates ‘the art of drag, queer culture and self-expression for all.”  This event that was established in 2015 is where RuPaul's Drag Race contestants and other well-known drag artists meet with fans, take pictures, sign autographs, and sometimes perform or take part in a discussion panel, as well as sell merchandise.  Needless to say we were stoked on the opportunity to provide some merch when the call came.

This simple dad hat with an iconic drag motto classically embroidered with a clever use of thread color seemed like the perfect way to embody the statement.

FLAVORS DISPENSARY - CASE STUDY  

Everybody knows the best way to promote your legal dispensary business is having killer merch to distribute…and by merch we mean classic dad hats, duh.

We’ve done a ton of work in this marketplace over the last couple of years and these guys are one of our favorite clients.  Their business is booming and with that comes constant opportunities to create fresh new gear for their wide stable of brands.

The call for this project was to keep things very simple and clean.  We chose to go along with the trend and selected a color range of dad hats and sewed the company logo in a complementary color sharply across the fronts.

“This brand is more than just clothing.  It’s about honoring Alpha’s in all walks of life.” - Urijah Faber, UFC Hall-of-Famer.

Faber, who is widely regarded as one of MMA’s pioneers, has built a career centered around the characteristics defined by that of an Alpha.  He’s now doing the same with his clothing line.  For this project, we paired Classic Snapbacks with the classic Alpha Male Clothing icon logo which is designed perfectly to be digitized clean to be sewn in 3D.  Placed front and center on purpose, this mark stands off the hat representing as a beacon of strength, the same as do those who proudly wear it.

BL8NKT - CASE STUDY  

Pronounced “Blanked,” duh.  BL8NKT is but one of the premier fishing companies that we’re lucky enough to crank out rad products for.  These guys make their hay providing gear reviews and online how to’s for the massive global audience of fishing enthusiasts which makes their tagline of “Fishing is Boring” just that much more awesome.

Although the BL8NKT crew has a solid sense of humor, there’s nothing funny about these hats.  We executed their iconic logo mark in a tonal 3D Puff embroidery across the center front of these MultiCam retro truckers with a custom branded woven label on the inner sweatband.  Blanked may be a fishing term for “striking out,” but we think these hats are a home run.

SWIMBAIT UNDERGROUND - CASE STUDY

What started as an online forum, an arena for passionate fisherman hunting for the big hogs to come together and share stories, tips, gear reviews, and simply offer camaraderie to fellow anglers, has quickly become one of the leading apparel brands in their marketplace.  Ladies and gentlemen allow me to introduce you to Swimbait Underground.  We’ve become fully engaged with these guys and this brand and feel lucky to call them partners.

We’re proud to have a hand in the majority of their line offering for sure and this project was no different.  SU knows exactly who they are and they are masters at building the consistency of the brand.  For this hat we chose a classic snapback to receive their abbreviated brand initials in 3D puff execution.  Although the varying stitch directions posed a bit of a challenge in areas, we were more than happy with how these lids turned out.

There’s nothing more rewarding than collaborating on projects with folks that share a passion for their craft the same as we do.  The team at Toxic Baits most definitely fits this mold.  These guys design, craft, and hand-make custom fishing swimbaits with a flare and attitude unmatched in the industry.  The apparel merch that we crank out for them is no different.

We hit this Classic Snapback cap with a bold three letter design statement using our exclusive Chain Stitch Plus embroidery technique but didn’t stop there.  Sewn across the back of this bad boy we offered up the full phrase executed in a more Classic stitch.  The results shall we say…are a badass head covering that makes a strong proclamation to a market that’s seen nothing like it.
