Screen Printing

SCREEN PRINTING

Screen printing is our primary discipline and something we’ve been doing since our company began in 1997. Although the process of putting designs on apparel may seem simple, it can take years to master and is constantly advancing. Our company is proud to be recognized by industry peers for our high level of quality and we’ve been the recipient of several awards because of this.

Screen Printing Methods: Water Based / Discharge, Puff, Soft Plastisol, High Density, Full Color, Plastisol, Foil Stamp, Vintage, Crystalina, Glow In Dark, Gloss Press, Gel, Jewel Tone, Special Effects

WATER BASE / DISCHARGE

Unlike traditional plastisol inks that are laid on top of the fabric, water based inks are pushed deep into the fibers essentially re-dying the fabric leaving you with a super soft print that you cannot feel.

PUFF

Puff ink is a great way to add 3d dimension to your screen prints. It is similar to high density screen printing but the edges are more rounded giving your design a puffed effect.

SOFT PLASTISOL

By utilizing a special base ink we can get extremely soft prints on light or colored fabrics at a slightly lower price point than water-based printing.  Because it is semi-transparent, we often use it for tonal print designs.

HIGH DENSITY

Specialty screens are used to create a three-dimensional raised image with superior edge definition. This process adds dimension and a unique texture to your design.

FULL COLOR

Brilliant full color images produced with multiple colors are done so using our simulated process and on occasion 4-color (CMYK) capabilities.

PLASTISOL

Screen printing with plastisol ink is most common because the colors are bright, easy to control, and you can use this technique on a wide range of fabrics.  The ink sits on top of the garment rather than being driven into the fibers like water based ink. The common misconception is that plastisol ink has to be thick and heavy which is just not the case. We use special screens and methods to insure nice thin prints.

FOIL STAMP

This two-step process begins with an adhesive screen print.  Foil is then applied over the image area with a heat press leaving you with a mirror-like finish.

VINTAGE

This effect is created in the art / design file.  By adding a filter over the design we are able to create a vintage or worn look.

CRYSTALINA

We create this special formula in-house and can use it to overlay selected areas or complete designs leaving a retro glitter effect.

GLOW IN DARK

This semi-transparent overlay glows in the dark when charged with light and is viewed in the dark.

GLOSS PRESS

This two-step process can make even the simplest prints very unique with a clean gloss-look finish.

GEL

Gel inks allow us to create designs that look wet. It has a slight raised effect with a rubber like texture.

JEWEL TONE

By using our specialized jewel tone inks we can produce designs with a subtle shimmer effect.
